What's the single most important thing to get right?
Backups. Hardware fails, laptops get stolen, and ransomware happens — a tested backup turns all of those from a disaster into an inconvenience. If you do nothing else, get your irreplaceable files backed up automatically.
I think I've been scammed or hacked. What should I do?
Get in touch straight away — speed matters. We'll help you secure the affected accounts, change what needs changing, check devices for anything left behind, and talk to your bank if money is involved. No judgement; it happens to careful people too.
Is this overkill for a home user?
